Classic BLT Sandwich

The immortal kinds of an Exemplary BLT Sandwich can be enjoyed with the firm bacon, new lettuce, ready tomatoes, and rich mayonnaise which are sandwiched between cuts of toasted bread. Start by cooking fresh bacon cuts until brilliant brown and completely fresh. Ingredients:

4 slices of bacon

2 slices of bread (white, wheat, or your choice)

2 leaves of lettuce

1 tomato, sliced

Mayonnaise

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Fry bacon in a frying pan until crisp. Remove and put on paper towel to soak.

Toast the bread in either a toaster or skillet until brownish.

Apply some mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.

Put lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and fried bacon on top of one slice of bread.

Add salt plus pepper to taste.

Cover with the other slice to make a sandwich.

Serve with any side dish after cutting into two diagonal halves.
