Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

The crispy bites consist of cauliflower wings drizzled in buffalo sauce; these nuggets will give you the texture and flavor of chicken without the poultry. The cauliflower pieces are breaded in a mixture of flour, garlic powder and paprika and baked until the outer layer becomes crispy and brownish. After they are baked, they are coated in a hot buffalo sauce involving hot sauce, melted butter, and a vinegar wash. Finally, the Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites may be drizzled with fresh chopped parsley or celery sticks just for a crunch and the bites can be enjoyed as a game day snack, appetizer or even a special side dish. Ingredients:

1 small head of cauliflower, cut into florets

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup water

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 cup hot sauce

2 tbsp melted butter

Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Instructions:

Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat it to 450°F then get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl mix the following ingredients for a batter; flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Coat the baking sheet and then dip each cauliflower floret in the batter so that it is evenly coated and then place the florets on the baking sheet.

Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden and crunchy on the outside.

In a different bowl, add the hot Sauce and Melted Butter and mix as one.

Take the cauliflower out of the oven and drench it in the hot sauce mixture and ensuring it is covered well.

Transfer them back to the tray and bake for a further 5 to 10 mins.

The food must be served piping hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side. Enjoy!
