Bacon-Wrapped Dates offer a blend of flavors that are both sweet and savory. That’s because it is an appetizer made by wrapping slices of crispy bacon around juicy dates. Every Medjool date can be filled with almond filling or creamy goat cheese, after which it is wrapped up using a slice of delicious bacon and secured using a toothpick. By baking them until the bacon gets crispy and caramelized, these bites possess opposing textures and tastes that are awesome. The sweetness of the dates complements the richness of the cheese/nut filling while the bacon adds a crunchy taste. Bacon-Wrapped Dates may also be garnished with some fresh thyme or balsamic glaze for extra flavoring. It’s great to have these at parties, gatherings or as an anytime snack/appetizer idea since they’re so easy to make.
