1 lb beef tenderloin, finely minced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp capers, chopped

2 tbsp parsley, chopped

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices of bread, toasted

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, put together ground beef, minced onion, capers, Dijon mustard, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt and pepper. Blend them well.

Taste in case there is any need for correcting the seasoning.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form each part into a patty shape.

Heat non-stick skillet to medium-high heat. Place the beef patties on it and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until you reach your preferred doneness level.

While beef patties are cooking in the above step toast bread slices to golden brown.

Place one of these beef patties on each slice of toast and serve it as an appetizer while still hot. Enjoy!
