Classic Lemonade

Satisfy your liquid hunger with this sweet nectar Classic Lemonade: the epitome of Summer in a glass. This homemade lemonade uses fresh lemon juice as the base; with a perfect combination of the sharp lemon taste and the sweet spot given by sugar or honey. To clients, it has a refreshing feel when taken with chilled water and or with ice cubes. Ingredients:

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar

6 cups water

Ice cubes

Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

In a small saucepan melt the sugar over medium heat in 1 cup of water. Allow to heat over a medium flame until the sugar has dissolved entirely, stirring the mixture from time to time. Taken of the heat and allowed to cool.

Strain the lemon juice over the sugar mixture and pour in the remaining 5 cups of water and mix everything in a large pitcher. Stir well to combine.

Sip it carefully and add more sugar if it is too tart, or more lemon juice if it is too sweet.

It is recommended to let the cake to cool in the refrigerator of at least 1 – 2 hours before serving.

This should be served chilled, preferably over ice and accompanied by a wedge of lemon. Here is your rejuvenating classic lemonade!
